Playback: Minority moves motion to overturn approval of 2022 budget

Parliament, presided by first Deputy Speaker, Joseph Osei-Owusu resumed sitting today.

The House argued on the approval of the 2022 budget in the absence of the Minority Group.

According to Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, the budget’s approval by the Majority is unconstitutional; thus has moved a motion to overturn the approval of the 2022 Budget statement and economic policy.

His motion was however overruled by the first Deputy Speaker.
